The Realm Library ArtBoxes are a series of display spaces set into the ‘wall of wonder’, a constantly refreshed display of new books. The ArtBoxes feature works from emerging and established artists.
Themes for the exhibitions are chosen to appeal to the community and spark interest in the many wonderful things that Your Library has to offer.
The current exhibition, ‘Looking Up’, runs from 14 July to 31 August 2022.
Our next exhibition, however, is going to be very different!
Tiny Artists aged 5 to 12 are invited to attend our special painting sessions on Monday 19 September, where tiny canvases (4 x 4 inches) and painting materials will be provided. Sessions will run at 9am, 11am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm. Pieces will be left at the library after each session, and the accepted artworks will be exhibited in the Realm Library ArtBoxes from 6-31 October.
Bookings open on 5 September. Please note that places are limited – book quickly to avoid disappointment!
