Due to the COVID-19 lockdown, all libraries are currently closed.
While we're closed, we've resumed our Call + Collect service to help make lockdown a little brighter! Call the friendly team at your local branch and ask them to put together a bag of books, DVDs, or other library items for you and your family. You can also request one of our fun activity packs for the kids!
Existing reservations When you receive your reservation notice, you can call the library and arrange a time to collect.
Collections You can collect your items between 9am and 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and from 10am to 1pm on Saturday at most branches*.
*Items can be collected at Belgrave Express from Mon - Fri, 9:30am-4:30pm; at Healesville, from Mon - Fri, 9am-5pm & Sat 10am-1pm; and at Montrose Library from Mon - Fri, 9am-5:30pm & Sat 10am-12pm.
Returns
Our after-hours return chutes will remain open while the libraries are closed. Don't forget, Your Library is fine FREE.
Postal delivery Postal delivery is still available to those unable to leave their home due to illness, or another reason.
The Children's Team are happy to prepare activity packs for different age groups, i.e. Toddlers 1-3 years, Pre-schoolers 3-6 years, Early Primary 6-9 years, and Primary 9-12 years.
