Kids and teens – create your own comic stories and submit them to Your Library!
Entries open Thursday 12 January 2023 and close Friday March 31 2023, but you can start creating right now!
All entries will be in the running for amazing prizes of art supplies, including extra prizes for local comic book artists.
We are very excited to have Dean Rankine on board as our comic book superstar. Dean has worked on Simpsons Comics and is the illustrator of the Timmy the Ticked-Off Pony series written by Magda Szubanski. Dean will be running workshops throughout the summer school holidays, along with Your Library's own comic book dynamo, Sabina Wills, creator of the Bil and Bot comic series. Be sure to book in to get some great tips from the experts!
Your Library’s Picture This! Comic Book Comp is open to kids and teenagers from all across Victoria, from foundation/prep to Year 12 (18 years old).
We can't wait to welcome you back to Storytime from Monday 30 January, 2023. Get ready for more wonderful stories, songs and rhymes in the new year!

Bring your own picnic and spread out on the lush lawns at Miller's while you enjoy a wonderful, lunchtime program of music on Friday 13, 20 and 27 January from 12pm - 2pm. Keep your little ones entertained at the craft tables and treat yourself to a coffee at the 'Bang On Barista' coffee cart.
Join us at Mooroolbark Library for a fun-filled night of gaming! Meet people, learn how to play new games and celebrate all that tabletop gaming has to offer (open to all ages and skill levels). Feel free to bring your own games or play the library's collection.
Meeting on the last Tuesday of the month, from 7pm-8pm.
Come along and join the 'One More Page Book Club' where we will explore a diverse range of books featuring LGBTQIA+, Indigenous and culturally diverse authors and stories.
